This is a fabulous restaurant that is on the top floor of the Palms, so has beautiful views of the Vegas strip.
4. Lavo - Palazzo - Italian
I like sitting outside here even though there is no view since it is on street level. It is across from the TI "pirate show." They have a good menu and dont forget to order the deep fried oreos for dessert.
Because of the nature of my career, I have had the luxury of visiting some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. For all of you who are coming to Las Vegas for a special trip or for any locals looking for a fancy place to dine on their birthday/anniversary, here are my favorite high-end dinner spots:
1. Bartolotta - Wynn - Italian Seafood
Make sure that you get a cabana table outside. This is a seafood restaurant, but I recommend the ravioli di ricotta con caciotta Toscana.
Wonderful views of the Bellagio water show. I recommend family style ordering. Lots of good stuff on the menu :)
This is a great steakhouse. You HAVE to sit outside because there is a "Lake of Dreams" show.
You should get an outside table here, but not to close too the balcony. It is right in front of the Bellagio water show. This is also a great lunch spot. Also, a little secret is to valet at the north valet on Flamingo Road.
7. Mix - Delano - French/American
The place has sort of a heaven and hell theme. The lounge is all in black with red accents with a great view of the strip. As soon as you walk into the dining room, everything is all white with sweeping staircases, mid-century modern furniture and a stunning 24-foot chandelier.
This overlooks the Bellagio's water show. Serves sushi, sashimi, tempura and hand rolls.
I recommend the Popping Spicy Crab roll and the Big Eye Tuna Pizza
PS if you see something on any of these menus that has truffle oil (not truffle shavings), you should definitely order it :)
